This year for Desktop Application Programming I’ve been tasked with creating an application that manages a lending library. Naturally, this library has specific requirements in how it’s constructed—like how it needs to have four different areas to manage the library items, the item types, the patrons, and checked out items. It also needs to be able to build reports based on the data in the library. I’ve tried taking these requirements, building them to the fullest extent, and then adding on even more. With my application, the user interface has been custom designed to provide the highest amount of efficiency when entering and viewing data. Overall, the library application is coming along quite nicely and I expect to have it done before the end of February.
